* 2008 Landcruiser * I'm not going to go into all the reasons this decision has to be made, But one of them was that I thought I would be taking the family on 4 wheel drive trips into Ouray and the Colorado Mountains, but nobody ever wants to go, and I just don't see a need for so much vehicle anymore as I am almost 50, and ready to go an awd fuel eco route now-Prob just get a '12 MDX for a while. I just want to get a fair price, and want to make sure I fully disclose the rig and that it goes to someone much more willing to use it. Need to sell it relatively soon. It's well cared for, and I have had it less than a year. It has great wheels and tires, and comes with the Tundra rims as well if the all black look isn't your thing. In addition it is full custom tinted to match all the way to the front with a nice dark tint. Everything works flawlessly. See pix. I can sell it all day long to local buy my car places, or trade it in for about 22-24K. My ultimate goal would be to get 28K for it. 135K miles. But like I said I want to be fair. It has some rust on the frame and I took pics of that. I was told it's superficial. Frankly I never knew about that until the car was shipped here. I do not want anyone to have any surprises. The rust would be the only concern for anyone. I just really do not know how much less that makes this rig worth. It drives very tight, and crisp. Engine is quite powerful. The AC switch was replaced at the dealer here once I received it, and had the oil changed then too. The gas door was replaced and repainted by EuroCollision. The front mud flaps were removed to make room for larger tires.

Just a guess, but ...

2008 Landcruiser Is Up For Sale. Advice is appreciated.

:p
LOL!

Once I get reading a post, I guess the subject line goes right out me brain...? ;)

Where did it live previously that it has rust? Can you post more pics of the rust? My wife actually loves my 200 but doesn't want one for herself because of the gas mileage. Perhaps I could convince her one a little closer to stock will get better mpg ;)
I bought it from Virginia. Pm me an email and I will send more pics.

Rust doesn't seem to bad if thats the worst of it. I would say 28k is not a bad price point considering what they go for. You might sit a bit for 28 but sell quickly at 26, who knows. Good looking truck, similar to mine and hell its a 200. Pretty desirable and my favorite so far. I would feel and sleep a whole lot better tonight if you kept it and passed on the MDX. Think about it. When your cruising down the highway like Chevy Chase and the Baywatch girls pull up next to you waving and smiling, what do you want to be driving? The coolest truck ever made or a Honda Pilot in disguise? GAS is CHEAP

So I think the sales price I will offer it at will be 27K to any I H8 Mudders, but 27750 on Craigslist. The mudders on this forum have been so helpful to me over the years, so hence the $750 discount. It may go pretty quick here in Colorado, so if anyone is interested and wants to take her for a drive, please contact me. Thanks guys and gals!

I think I recall seeing this truck when it was for sale in VA. I recently picked up a 2010 but also recently saw similar trucks to yours sell in VA/DC/MD sell at a couple dealers for around 26k. If you want to move it, list it for 26k and then negotiate whether the second set of wheels are included or not. Good lookin truck. GLWS.

Yep Sickspeed, I bought it from Virginia for 26K, then I paid to transport it to Colorado, and the following items were done to the truck immediately:
1-Had dealer track down non-working AC, they replaced the AC switch.
2-Had dealer supply new gas door as the gas door would not open enough for pump, had EuroCollision color match it and R&R new door.
3-Dealer replaced cabin filter and I cleaned the MAF sensor as well.
3-No knobs on heated seats, purchased new switch in order to have the knobs.
4-Had centennial Leasing remove and replace scratched and damaged tint
5-New KMC XD rims, as well as re-initiate new replacement certificates for the BFG KO2's from Discount tire
- So I am into this Rig just over $31,000 and hoping to get $27,000. Taking a $4K hit seems very reasonable to me for as nice of a rig as this is. I know it will make somebody extremely happy. :-)
