Looks great! Add some orange Hella's and that is a sweet rig!

The black piece under the headlight, is that a trim piece included with the bumper or did you chop the bumper to make that?

are sure you have left sufficient tolerance for body flex against bumper/frame movement? There have been many complaints down under about those winglet bits cracking due to bumper flex.

Included. No chopping of the bumper.

The bumper is only made to line up one way properly so we will follow up with this customer. He is going to be doing some mild wheeling. We will find out and post.

I do believe TJM has gone one better than ARB with this design. No cutting plastic, and the bumper and headlight trim pieces look factory. Not a big fan of TJM either, but if I had a 200, I would pick the TJM over ARB, solely on design elements.

It looks very good.

Any idea on the weight of ARB versus TJM bumpers ?

I have a 2011 LC 200 mainly for daily driver....What other bumper style would be avaialble for more street use that trail use....

I like the look the LC without heavy bumpers....

I'm in the same boat. I'm trying to get my hands on an AU Toyota OEM Nudge Bar. Have to verify fitment for MY 2013, and see if I can actually get one:

Unfortunately, you may have to take an Australian vacation to buy some accessories down under. Or, see if one of our Aussie brethren on here would buy it for you and ship it. I did a lot of business there over the last few years and bought quite a few accessories at various Toyota dealers. It's a shame Toyota won't market simple stuff here, like the clear plastic headlamp and hood guards.

Hey guys, that's my rig with the new TJM front bumper. I did a ton of research before picking TJM. Honestly, I so disliked the look of the ARB that I was considering a custom front bumper until I found out that TJM decided to re-enter the US market a couple months back.

Reasons I picked it:

1. Looked lots better than ARB equivilant
2. Required zero cutting of the front bumper
3. It cost 35% less than the ARB (TJM is being very aggressive with their pricing)
4. Came with fog lights assembly and bulbs
5. Heard/read that the T13 bumper won some awards in Australia last year

Update on the new TJM bumper.

I experienced a little bit of rubbing/banging between the bumper and fenders due to the tight tolerance between the two. Gonna head back to LCNW and see if they can back it off by a a wee bit to match up with the image I found on TJM's website. Other than that it was awesome. I definitely got a lot of very positive feedback on the design, fit and finish.

Now I'm trying to decide if I should leave it black or paint it silver and match the rest of the rig. Any thoughts?

In my experience, you need at least a pinky fingers gap between the bumper and body work on any body on frame vehicle.

Tony and Matt @ Landcruiser NW fixed me up this morning. We backed off the spacing by about 1/4 of an inch and all the rubbing went away. Nice guys, couldn't ask for anything else.

I like the Bull bar on the toyota web site. Looks very much like the TJM.

Steel bull bar - airbag compatible
This heavy-duty bull bar is made from pressed, durable steel. Provisions for the fitting of driving lights (including larger RALLYE FF 4000) and a CB aerial mount are all provided. Designed for (optional) integrated and recessed winch mounting, and powder coated for lasting corrosion resistance. For vehicles fitted with front cameras, fitment of Nudge Bar or Bull Bars will reduce the field of vision

the lines on that bumper look very good with the LC.

would love to get one, but being an AU accessory makes it almost unobtainable.

The top section its hard to tell, is it plastic or metal?

For the armored car world I actually over cut the OEM bumper - to install after market bumpers (more about function the looks for us) Issue I have on the new 2013 models is the new OEM bumper cruves do not work well with the HD bumpers

I got tired of cutting the OEM bumpers 2 yrs ago so I we started to build our own bumpers with a filler piece below the lights

it seemed like a good idea, but then we figured out the hard way how long it takes to bend mild steel to match and stopped making them.

Not matter what version you go with ALWAYS make sure to keep clearance around those headlights. They might seem strong but one hit with the bumper and those damn $600 lights shatter like a light bulb.

The wings above the bumper are a soft plastic that can be painted. Good info about the clearance needed for the lights.
