That is my plan. Leave my house mid to late morning and head north. If I brake down on the way, I will crash at OrangeFJ45's.

i'll be up on friday also. I'm not far at all. looking forward to it!!!!!!

we come in from the blue lakes side which is on the north end. then we camp at the northern creek crossing, about 2 miles down the trail from where the pavement ends. people usually start showing up late thursday and friday but most of us get there on saturday. then we do a trail ride on sunday followed by a BBQ and raffle sunday evening.

That area is actually Clover valley, right? I don't think I've camped there before...

Since the gf is coming up on the train we are heading back down to SLO on Tuesday. I promised to take her to Dave Wong's on Monday night. Then its hook up the cruiser to the chevy and start the long drive south at 55 to 60 mph.
