My wife didn't like my ad, so I've redone it, with pictures. She has put very few miles on it in the past 6, 7 years, because she drives her 2015 LX570 most of the of the time. Since spring 2018, she's only driven it 10,784 miles, to date (7-14-23.) The Michelin LTX MS2's have 12,630 miles on them and are in great shape. She's driven it mostly in FL and CA, the last six years being in CA, where it now sit's in the garage.
She is asking $27,500.00. It needs nothing, all services are up to date. Timing belt service sticker shows: date: 1/17/14, 90,088 miles, but wife say's it was done again (why I don't know) in 2018, but I don't see a sticker/receipt to this note this. Last year, I had a new battery, new alternator and a new OEM drivers side window control unit installed. The valve cover gasket had a slight leak, leaked oil on to the alternator. The valve cover gaskets, alternator, and something else, maybe the belt (???) were all replaced. The window control was replaced around the same time because the auto up/down function was sporadic. She only had synthetic oil used, with OEM filters. A new transmission (Bob Tyler Toyota, Pensacola, FL) was installed at 142,818 on 31Mar 2018, because my wife said the service manager told her it was low on fluid and they advised getting the new one, which they just happened to have in stock. Hmmm? That wasn't cheap, and I still don't believe we needed it, but that's the story. At that time, all new TPS' were also installed, another bill. She likely had the timing belt service done around that time too, but she keeps telling me she can't find all the records for this. She did find the record for the tranny, which we have. Either way, even with the current sticker, it's not due for another 40k miles. This SUV gets whatever maintenance it needs, or my wife thinks it needs. My wife drives it a thousand miles and she thinks the oil needs changing! She thinks the battery has to be replaced every year too! Once, she had the brakes done, after I had the brakes done six months earlier, so the brakes are good. Now, with her new LX, she just lets Lexus or Toyota keep track of the service history and tell her when and what needs to be done. TG! This 470 is a wonderful SUV, no question about it. It has normal wear, like small scratches and slight blemishes, but is overall in great shape. There are three defects to note, 1. a small (dime size?) dent, 2. small area of scratches on the rear hatch wind deflector, 3. A small hole in the plastic rear panel (nickel size). It would make someone a great LX cruiser, I know. She is officially the third owner, but really the second. Why? Her aunt and uncle owned it, then her cousin had it for a short time, and then my wife actually registered it in her name. Family.
Why don't I keep it? Hell, my wife wants me to, but I've owned four LC's (mine) and two LX's (wife's) in my life, so far. I have a Tundra, 2 MB Sprinter RV's, a 2001 Jeep Cherokee (my FL buggy) and a '95 F250 4x4 7.3 (love me truck!), so way too many vehicles! Plus my wife has her LX570 and she has a 2006 Wrangler unlimited (her FL buggy!) Insurance just keeps going up and since retiring, funds are hard to hold onto. I need more BEER money! Time to let go of a few vehicles.
I just (7-18-23) took current pictures, but I took them from under my RV canopy area, so lighting may be bright. I've also attached a few from last summer, outside. OH MY GOD! I can only attach FIVE, 5! WOW! I can send more pictures via email.
We are located in Fairfield/Vacaville, CA. The LX has current Florida registration, and of course clear title (NOT SALVAGED!) It's been smogged, but we aren't required to do so, because my wife is in the Air Force, an active duty officer. We are stationed here at Travis AFB.
Post/Msg NAME, best NUMBER and EMAIL. If you are really interested, then absolutely respond, but if not, then don't.
CASH, at a bank, for the buyer and sellers best option/protection. Hell, it's not a lot of cash. You can't buy anything worth sh*T for $27,5k.
Send me your info, and I'll contact you and give you mine. Thank you. Have a nice day. Experience life, own and drive an LC or LX at least three times!
