Hello.
Anyone have success with installing an amp bypass on a 2007? All the posts I’ve seen here and on YouTube are for all pre 2007 installs. What sure why the 2007 audio system is different from all other 100 series. Anyway, I’m going down the amp bypass route because although I want better sound, I don’t want to go down the route of installing an entirely new aftermarket head unit and remove the factor amp because I have an integrated Nav system.
Crutchfield helped to identify two amps including Alpine KTP-445U Power Pack for his compact size and the Infinity Primus 6004a if I'm able to locate a proper location. Still not entirely sure which I'm going with. I'm also upgrading the door speakers with Infinity Reference REF-6530cx. The Infinity speakers also come with separate tweeters. Let me know if you're able to locate a previous thread or can provide some insight on how to proceed with the install.
Thanks so much!
