Is this is the same one that was on CL last year go awhile in Orangeburg? I believe it was silver and one owner then.

Not sure. I wasn't looking a year ago. It's in Orangeburg now. Owner said this when I asked if it had rust and if everything worked:

Thanks for your inquiry. the truck is 2006. I have all service records mechanically there is nothing to do with this truck. I am driving it now. Everything works in this truck. That being said it is a 12 year old truck. You are welcome to take a take look and drive it. thanks

CARFAX Vehicle History Report for this 2006 TOYOTA LANDCRUISER: JTEHT05J362082276

I don't know. Anyone in South Carolina want to take a look at it?

Northeasterner... don’t bother, plenty of good 100’s to be found outside the salt belt.

Interesting, his ad said second owner, but the Carfax says third owner. I requested pictures yesterday, but he said he was out of town for business until Friday. Something is off be the response that you got saying that he was driving it right now.

I will agree that the Northeast miles can be worrisome with rust. I looked at a 2003 Tacoma 4x4 this weekend that was a 1 owner with 28k original miles. It had the frame replaced a year or so ago under the recall and it still had more rust under it than anything I ever saw in the midwest. It lived all but a year in Asheville, NC. That salt destroys vehicles and it seems like Toyota's seem to deteriorate even quicker from it.

Another note from the seller upon asking for undercarriage pics...

I don't have any pics of the undercarriage. I will tell you that there is some surface rust the car came from up north. That being said you may or may not want to have your friend come over. There is no damage and the only reason we’re selling is because we bought a new one. I am driving this truck. Thanks
