Serious buyer. I'm ready to pull the trigger on the right truck. I have cash in hand and more importantly have the go ahead from the wife to buy one.

I want a Land Cruiser not a LX470. Stock. Anyone knows of one for sale or sees one in your daily hunts online - please drop me a PM. Looking for something under 80k miles that hasn't lived in the rust belt.

Thanks. Martin

The Gx 470 and 4runner are identical. The only difference is the lexus luxury, higher level leather, power everything, and the better treatment at the lexus dealership. The landcruiser is identical to the lx470 lexus. The Lx/LC is slightly larger than the Gx/4R but all use the same 4.7 liter v8 engine. I would go with the Gx if it were me buying.

Other things to consider, as we know the LC hasn't been updated for a few years, so the GX wins in the electronic gadgetry category. Also, the GX is a newer chassis and has slightly better gas mileage. If you will be doing real expeditions, go for a LC. If you will be doing anything less strenuous, either will get you from point A to point B. Additionally, both the GX and the LC handle the off road trips, snow, and the ice very well.

I am aware the GX and 4Runner are the same platform....the OP is looking for a LC, not a 4Runner or GX.

Not sure where you get "the LC has not been updated in a few years". Actually it has, but again, the OP is looking for a '06 or '07 LC.

I have owned both the new generation 4Runner and both 100 and 200 series trucks. While they are all great vehicles, there is a heck of a difference.

I have a 2006 LC I'm about to put up for sale. It's Grey/Grey, completely stock, great shape with the AHC. 122,041 miles.

Shoot me a PM if interested. I'm taking pictures today to post up later. Located in Lake Jackson, TX.

Doubt Martin looking at this post any longer. I delivered my 2006 to him yesterday in Wyoming.

Jon is right - I'm out of the market. Snagged a great truck yesterday. Thanks for meeting me in the middle. My wife and kids are just as happy as I am with it. I'm now a 200 owner (98 -100 series and 06 - 100 series = 2-100's!)

Glad to hear!
