I'll do $24,900 for MUD members but not a penny less, unless you want the VAIS out ($500) and the WK sliders off ($600), in which case it would be $23,900.

I paid $24.5k 90 days ago, fully dealer serviced from a guy who owns two other Cruisers. I put $2k into it (90k service), then added the sliders ($800), VAIS (Sirrus & Ipod $750), full 3M window tinting ($600) and Pfran's interior LED kit ($100ish). Also bought/have a complete set of door lock motors for when they go out in next 100k miles + LabRack/Thule Aeroblades (not included for $24k but you can have them for $400 (or just $250 for the LabRack mounts). I POR 15'd the bottom pans where there was some surface rust & rattle canned the sliders/factory wheels with 7 layers of Rust-Oleum primer & Duplicolor Graphite. It runs perfect. Just took a new job & am now driving 3000 miles/month. I either need to sell it this week or I'll park it for 2-3 years. Still has Utah title & plates---I can show you how to register in CA & not pay sales tax on purchase (providing you are married).

Last chance before i sell rack/sliders and vais separately and sell to carmax on friday. Ive had lots of tire kickers but nobody with actual cash or a real offer.

I wish I had the money and my truck was sold cause this seems like a great truck!

Dam. I'm not quite ready to buy yet! This looks like a great deal! Glws

Wish you were closer to Oklahoma, or I was closer to California! GLWS

I cannot believe this didn't sell this week---I had 7, yes SEVEN different I WANT ITs who all bailed/flaked for some reason in the last 4 days. Ridiculous. I'm back in SoCal & my work trip has been postponed till next Sunday (9/8): then I'm gone for 3 weeks.

I just got this back from my master Toyo mechanic--had the AHC flushed, the 2 very small door dings pulled, and the oil converted to Mobil 1. Another $400 down the drain.

Seriously---this is the lowest priced 2006 in the USA (check Autotrader) & I absolutely guarantee its the cleanest.

I can't believe the flake factor of potential buyers, sadly most of whom came from MUD....no, I'm not going to consider $18-22k for this. Sorry.

I have a CarMax offer north of $23k, without the sliders (they wanted the factory running boards (which i still have & they wanted the original roof rack back on (which I also have)) & VAIS (which they didn't even consider). I have firm offers for the sliders & VAIS from other MUD members, but I REALLY don't want to spend 2-4 hours pulling everything off this weekend/week.

I'm holding this open for MUDDers till Friday then off to CarMax it goes. Seriously, I'm baffled---this was the nicest (out of about 20-25) rig I looked at between December '11 & May '12 before I bought this one. Throwing it on Autotrader tonight as well.

Is the Cruiser still titled in Nevada? Or has it been changed into your name?

It still has UT plates & title. I can assign title w/o registering it in CA.

Thanks for the info. Does it have a clear title?

It's a great truck for a great price and tire kickers have backed out, just trying to figure out why anyone would. Any issues you can relay? Would be coming from TX to pick up, don't want any surprises or finding the unknown once I arrive in CA.

There are absolutely no issues. This is about as clean as it gets for a 6 y.o./103k mile truck. It will need new tires in about 4-5k miles. Brake pads are at 4-5mm as of last week per my Toyo Master Mechanic who just serviced it. Carfax is online via Autotrader link. I have UT title in hand---I never registered it in CA--I can assign it right over to the buyer. I'll take up close photos of anything you want to see. Email is michaelopdahl at gmail dot com. It looks & rides almost new. I can give you the phone # of the Toyo mechanic who just serviced it, or the contact info for the other SLC area MUDer who almost bought it before I did.

Just received $1k depo on truck, with balance due within 48 hours from someone who found it via nationwide CL search.

I spent 20 minutes this afternoon looking at it, wondering why the hell I'm selling it. I sold my 40 series 2 years after college, b/c it wasn't fuel efficient enough for the finance gig that I was taking, and I've regretted it ever since.

20 years later I'm almost certain that I'm making the same mistake. This sucks.

In case he backs out, please this thread updated. Many are still interested. Thanks

Well it seems the flake city express continues on. Three deals seem to have fallen thru in last 2 days, including one guy who gave me $$ on deposit & then went completely silent. I'm sure that I'm going to get a paypal charge-back on that so I'm certainly not ahead of the game there.

Friday this goes to CarMax unless a Mudder wants it. I've bought/sold about 10 cars in the last few years over the net & this is by far the squirreliest series of events I've seen.

i was one of the flakers, i wanted to buy it but you're out of town and you want me to go see your mechanic to check out the truck, i'd rather talk to the owner not his mechanic, that's just me. face value... i just don't see it black and white, had cash ready and everything. but i'm not sure if the truck was on your name or not, or truck is registered out of town etc. i'm sure it was lack of information that lead me to look elsewhere. so i bought a different one, not exactly an LC but the LX instead. anyway, sorry to flake on you but good luck! didn't get a chance to see it.

Why are you selling it so soon after months of searching for the perfect cruiser?

Just accepted a corporate job that fell into my lap---basically the opportunity of a lifetime & my next 2-4 years minimum, 5-8 probable, are going to be working 60-70+ hours a week. Camping/long road trips are not part of the equation. 3000 miles/month are part of the equation. Just won't use the truck & it certainly isn't an economical daily driver. VS the Jetta TDI i just bought for work, it would cost me almost $10k/year extra in fuel costs.
