"We designed this Land Cruiser 4x4 as a reliable, bulletproof and versatile four season executive camper. It is intended for everyday M-F executive use, as well as, weekend or extended West coast to East coast road trips with unique camping, downtown and urban capabilities."

Very interesting they "designed" it considering the only mods are a bluetooth module and a RTT. Also I wonder if you have to be an executive to own it considering it was designed for "executive camping and executive use"

I think you can take them off with little damage. Might need to buff it out or something.

I don't want to have little damage at that price.

Price seems a little high though. Good Luck anyway.

Thanks! It is not cheap for sure. I found another one with 58k miles and soon to be restored to factory specs for more.

curious, whats wrong with the grey fender flares? or are the just add on covers like stuck on? is that not OEM?
total noob asking.

Its not factory. Its put on by the dealer after the trucks are un loaded off the ship. The maker of those flares are Bushwacker I believe. Its a dealer package, i believe there are other options added as well. They are screwed on not stuck on. Not OEM. They dont really look all that bad in my opinion, I took them off my truck just because it wasn't original. Price is high, but believe it or not, it will probably sell for around that.

Yeah the tent anyone can buy and add. I'd pull off as It not stock, nor would it fit on my garage without AHC.:frown:

The Flares would have to go also not being stock and are known rust promoters.:frown:

But what is cool here is it's a VVt-i:)

I've come to really like the extra passing power and hill climbing power the VVt-i engine offers with 5spd and rear gearing. I don't know if the 05 has the extra refinement offered in the 06-07. But only 05 made from May through June 05 had the VVt-i is my understanding.

I know most here prefer the no AHC set-up. But this too i've come to love, it's an awesome system. But looks like not in the 05 or at least this one. But the NAV with integrated climate control is something I don't care for. As I do like climate complete separate from NAV. PITA turn on fan to change temp setting.

I still feel the older rigs no NAV, no AHC where a simpler design which means less moving parts to fail, equating to lower maintenance cost. These simpler rigs IMHO are more reliable for this reason. That is, in the typically maintained rig which are often under or improperly maintained. But for me maintaining to factory spec is a passion, so all the bells and whistle are fine for me. Not to mention the cool factors I've come to really appreciate.

I would loved and 05 non VVt-i and a VVt-i to work on and compare. I'd also like the rarity of 05 VVT-i to add to my collections. Although not as rare as a Unicorn, it's still offers some appeal over a the more common non VVt-i 05.

thanks for the reply, yeah i don't think they look all that bad being dark and on that dark blue.

I thought 05' and up did not get the AHC system, and only 05 got VVT-I, guess i need to do some more digging.

The price was designed for executives.

LOL. Lots of sellers asking "executive" prices on 100s in past few months - flippers galore. The question is whether or not there are "executive" buyers at those prices. My guess is people paying executive prices are buying 200s.
