So the key fob that was with my 2004 hundy has become super brittle and coming apart. Ordered a key fob off Amazon and it will not sync up when dealer tried to program. I see where car keys express has the key fob available, however, I don’t want to spend the cash on another fob that will not sync up. Has anyone used this company for a replacement key? What are my options? Thanks

Take the guts out of the brittle one and put them in a new one. We will all recommend a YotaMd housing. You reuse the key part and the innards of it. You shouldn't have to get a brand new everything. We all have had our plastic cases crumble on us.

Assume you just bought a shell and you swapped the guts?

There are two steps to programming a key.
1) immobilizer
2) security key fob (if you don't swap the internals)
