***SOLD***

I’m selling my 2004 Land Cruiser because I’m itching for something different. This has been my very reliable daily driver and family hauler since buying it in March 2013 from Marion Toyota in Illinois. According to the records I've seen I am only the second owner. I had the timing belt changed at 150,000 miles (sticker and records to indicate) and regular service was performed by Toyota of Louisville.

All other normal features are in good working order except as noted.

I made some minor modifications as listed below. I never found any trails or mud in this vehicle because I have a 1995 Jeep YJ for wheeling.

Minor Mods:

Frontrunner Slimline II Half Roof Rack (retail $758) - purchased from Sierra Expeditions, this is direct mount with the FR custom roof rails. This has only seen very minor use (think Home Depot).

Cooper Zeon LTZ - 285/60/18 ($807.48) I estimate about 60% of tread remaining. If I remember correctly these tires are roughly an inch taller than stock tires so this raises the vehicle about ½ inch.

Magnaflow Muffler - HiWay Mufflers ($250 installed) - I live in Kentucky. What do you expect? But honestly the truck sounds so much better with this muffler, its not loud just a nice V8 rumble.

Headlights - Philips 9012 bulbs - this is slight mod you can research here on the forum. Essentially this just brightens the otherwise dim headlights. Its a minor mod but an important one.

WeatherTech DigitalFit 1st and 2nd Row Mats tan ($207.90) - I have the original mats as well that are very good shape considering their age.

Running Boards: I removed these because I like the look without them but I have them in my garage if you want them.

Butterfly cup holder thing - bought used on ebay, not a big deal unless your truck doesn’t have one.

Maintenance:

Timing Belt - 06/01/2013 - Toyota of Louisville

O2 Sensor - 07/2014 - Toyota of Louisville replaced

Brakes - 08/27/2014 - Toyota of Louisville, replaced pads and turned all 4 rotors to eliminate minor vibration

Antenna - 08/27/2014 - Toyota of Louisville, replaced antenna mast

A/C - 05/15/2015 - Toyota of Louisville, there was a leak in the line running to the rear a/c, parts were replaced and the air works well now

Oil, Filter, Lube - 04/2013, 10/2013, 4/2014, 8/2014, 3/2015 - All performed by Toyota of Louisville

Minor Issues:

(update 05-20-15) Stereo Speakers - On 5/15/15 I had Toyota of Louisville install two Infinity Reference 6032cf 6.5-Inch speakers in the front. The sound is much better than before, next up I'm going to buy the same for the rear doors. If you are not familiar with these trucks you should know that the stereo is very much integrated into the nav and climate control.

Passenger Door Speaker Cover - my wife abused the cloth cover to the point it began to tear so I put it out of its misery and pulled it off. There are some DIY fixes but I have not attempted. The speaker is not exposed, just missing the cloth on the cover.

Bluetooth - while this truck has some early version of bluetooth I have not been able to make it work well with my smartphones. When I first bought the truck I did connect my phone during the trip home and made calls but the quality was poor so I never used it again. I really think it is just a matter of old and new versions of bluetooth not working well together. This may also be due to the speaker issue above.

Small Dent in Rear Quarter Panel - this has been here since I bought the truck. Without measuring I’d say this is about 1.5” tall and looks like a strong, vertical door ding.

Interior pictures will be taken upon request.

For what it's worth, I checked this one out a few months ago, but I wasn't ready to buy yet and he wasn't ready to sell yet. It's in nice shape and seems well taken care of. Will make a nice truck for someone.

Thanks KY Tundra!

Hey Everyone - I'm making a couple of edits to the description above to add a new maintenance item (a/c) and an upgrade to the speakers.

Could you post some pictures? Looking for an 03 to 05 model. Very interested. This would be the 4th LC I've owned and nothing can beat them.

jawatson33 -- There is a link to a gallery of pics up top in his orig post. I was interested also, but didn't get a reply back to my PM. I don't think he has been around here since may 20th.

Sorry guys, out of the loop for a few weeks. Truck is sold.
