Then the remote fob. Took about 5 minutes and working perfectly. So far.

It's much easier to program the transponder and remote with Techstream than using the manual methods.

I'm sure it is, but I don't condone or recommend the use of pirated software and hardware. My apologies if you have a Mongoose cable and TIS subscription. Not everyone can afford that.

Yes.., as long as the key you have is a master. You cannot add a key using a valet key.

So did you order blank then have it cut?

I got the key from my local Toyota dealership. The part number is 89785-60160. The key was $35 and that included cutting from the VIN, which is much better than copying an existing key that may be very worn down.

How can you get the remote fob to work?

just take the chip out of your existing key and replace it in the new one. I ordered several new ones from eBay for very little $, had them cut at the hardware store and simply move the chip if I need a new key.
