hi all. I'm trying to do some home improvement -- well, truck improvement.
I've read some forums about sunroof fixing but it's not very detailed or vehicle specific either and really outdated and wanted to see if anyone else has done this sort of thing or have any experience.
so here's the problem:
my sunroof is stuck on closed and only with heavy rainfall will it even sometimes leak on the edges onto my head. when I click the buttons, I hear the motors working (thank god) trying to pull it open but no luck, so my guess is that the rods that help pull the window open and close might be rusted and therefore won't open the window properly.
so does anyone have any other threads that might help me be able to do this myself? or does anyone have anything that might be able to help me with step by step process on how to even go about this? I would appreciate it a lot and I would love to use my sunroof as I've never had one before
