2002 Land Cruiser Rear diff ratio code (3 Viewers)

Folks- I seem to be in a bit of a pickle here in MT-I am trying to figure out my diff ratio from doorcode-
seems third member is in need or replacement....
the chart at my mechanic lists 2 possible ratio options for the 02 LC- so w/out pulling and manually counting teeth,
it seems a 50/50 shot - and expensive guess.

Any ideas would help-

What makes ya think it needs to be replaced? Thats almost unheard of unless u have huge meats and wheel the bajesus out of it

Usually whether or not the vehicle had the "tow package" determines the ratio

Significant clunk when shifting tracked down to rear diff- lubrication of slip yoke, etc did not help-
mechanic is a reputable toyotas only shop- am open to ideas - am new to the LC arena....
