craigslist 2002 Land Cruiser; Overheated & damaged engine block, Woodlake, CA, USA

This is my brother's Cruiser. At least two cylinders got hot enough for metal to transfer from the pistons to the block. PM or use Craigslist reply to contact him directly.

2002 Toyota Land Cruiser (for parts)

Selling rolling chassis as is. Motor needs replaced or rebuilt. Motor is currently torn down with block still in the vehicle. ~200,000 miles on the truck. New brakes, great tires, wheels good, all body panels and hood in great shape. Front seats have normal wear for this age vehicle. Other seats, including the valuable 3rd row seat all in good condition. Front end damage from a small fender bender. Grill and center metal strip are the only damaged body parts. Hood and quarter panels straight.

Recently overheated and blew head gaskets. Some cyclinder damage on 3 of the cyclinders on passenger side of motor. Radiator is split, caused overheat condition. I have located several used motors that are available in California. Also talked with local machine shop about the rebuild. I just don't have the time to do the changeout or rebuild the motor myself currently. So I'm selling for parts and looking for another one.

I'm asking $4500 but will entertain offers.
