My LX470 has been unlocking itself randomly when driving. It'll try to unlock itself over and over intermittently when I'm driving down the road. It seems worse on bumps and turns specifically but doesn't require that for it to happen.

I looked it up here on ih8mud and checked the tailgate connector attached to the lock/key cylinder because I had heard that was an issue, but even disconnecting it I had the same issue. It seems like the fuses are fine too, I pulled them and they look normal. I messed with and jiggled the door close sensors but I couldn't get it to happen when parked. This is pretty much the only symptom I have so I assume it's not the BCM, but I have no idea. It's all doors unlocking as well and not just a singular door so it seems to be something involving the central lock system. Any ideas?

New symptom has appeared, it seems to now be doing this somewhat consistently (about 70% of the time) if a door is opened when the car is off and unlocked. If I open the passenger driver side door or front passenger door then the locks attempt to unlock themselves a lot of the time despite already being unlocked. Is this potentially related to anti theft somehow? It has even happened opening the tailgate a couple of times. I'm at a complete loss here

I have the same symptoms, have had them for years and have not found a solution. Done tons of searching.

The one thing that MAY be part of it is the drivers door wiring harness that runs from the body to the drivers door. If some of the wires are cut/torn when you open the door or when you hit a bump it will affect the locks.

You didn't list a year but the 98-02 trucks that harness is discontinued. Some people have had luck cutting the sheathing and repairing wires but I have not tried that yet.
