2001 LX 470 in AR

With much trepidation I am putting my truck for sale. I thought I would start here since you guys have been my go to source for info on everything 100 series. Only selling because I can't afford to pay for a vehicle to sit in the garage 90% of the time.

Been a daily driver since I bought it 2 ½ years ago. This is a very dependable and capable truck. I would take off across country tomorrow it runs so good. Third row seats are brand new and never used. Tires have over 50% tread left. Front seats have had seat covers on most of the time I have owned the truck and will convey to new owner.

-The bad?

Crack on windshield big enough that it will need to be replaced eventually
It’s been off-road and the paint shows in places
Winch works intermittently
Wheels need to be touched up with rattle can coating

-The good

90K service was done at 90K miles
New rear brakes and rotors about 1,000 miles ago
Seriously dependable as a daily driver
Pretty much the coolest ride around these parts!

Questions? I am sure I am missing something so please don't hesitate to ask, and let me know if I need to add more info or anything. It isn't up on craigslist yet and I haven't put the for sale sign on it yet either just in case you guys see something else I need to add or take away.

Forgot that at 17K I would entertain delivering it within a reasonable distance from 72903 zip code. $15,500 for anyone on these boards is literally my bottom dollar and the best deal I can do.

Good luck man, I would have bought it gladly if I were still in the market. Have you considered removing some of the upgrades (sliders, bumpers, etc) and selling them off separately? Of course you would have had to save the stock parts all this time to do that... But it seems like $15k would be reasonable for ur rig without the improvements you did. Those improvements might hurt your price to the consumer that doesn't know how great those parts are, they might also think u wheel'd the s*** outta it looking all badass like it does now. Food for thought, I am sure none of those parts would last long on the classifieds here. You could return your rig to stock, sell the parts at 50% off your orig cost, and still sell your close to stock LX for around the $15k that your looking to get. Or, save the parts for your next uzj100 ;-/ (I am sure you will be back). 15k is a great price for your rig considering the upgrades, good luck with your sale bud.

Nice truck I really like the color. I agree with the above post - if you have stock parts I'll bet you could sell all your mods easily and for a good price too. I personally saved all my parts for a few months and then got rid of them because they were too much of a pain to keep around!

Yes I did buy from a guy in NC. And it is officially sold. On it's way to Nashville with its new owner Jason hope to get everything in order soon enough to jump on the 100's in the hills next summer.
