Hey Everyone.

I am interested in selling my 2001 Cruiser. This is my 3rd Cruiser (98', 2003', 2001'), and while I love them, my wife is demanding I get something different. I'll probably just end up in another Cruiser, eventually. Nothing has the feel of a Cruiser.

Details are it is a 2001, with navigation, heated seats, sunroof, the fully loaded model. It has around 230k miles, and it is my DD, so they will continue to go up. It is white, and the paint is in perfect condition. Looks great.

It has been a Texas car, its whole life. Blemishes: bumpers have some bruises, driver seat is a bit faded on the outside most corner. Rear passenger seat (behind driver seat) has a few small pokes in the leather. Body has a few indents, nothing very noticeable, but they are there. Rear passenger seatbelt (behind front passenger seat) is torn, and is annoying to use, so that could be replaced. Hood does not stay open on its own. The rear wind guard (above the rear windshield) is missing.

Aside from cosmetic blemishes, the Cruiser is the best I have owned. It drives like-new, without any issues, at all. Every major service has been done, which is very rare. It has new A/C, radiator, coolant lines, master cylinder, power steering wrack, timing belt, literally everything major that could be replaced, has been. Brakes/tires done in the past 30k miles.

It also has weather-tech floor mats, and all the speakers were replaced, as well as an additional (small) sub added in the trunk. That can be removed, if you choose.

If you read this forum religiously, as I do, then you know all the issues to look for, and all the major things that can go wrong. As you can see, everything has been done. The Cruiser, mechanically, is the best you will find. Drives like a dream.

I do have the guard rails, but they have been removed. I do not have the 3rd row seats. It just passed inspection (2 weeks ago), and the registration was updated. It also has

I am asking $9,999. I figure it is worth around $7,000-$7,500, without any history, or repair work. This would be the perfect DD Cruiser, or even better, one to build on.

I am open to trades, as well. I am happy to take more pictures, I just took these quickly. If you have a question, or offer, please PM. I am very transparent, so feel free to ask anything, you will get an honest answer. Thanks!!!

Update. Just took it to the shop, here in ATX, to have it looked over. I got a synthetic oil change, so that is good to go. He checked all fluids, and confirmed they are all perfect (brake, oil, differential, etc). He said brake pads are good, rotors are good. CV boots are perfect, all belts and hoses are good. Shocks are good.

Issues that he noted, none of which he said are any concern, or need to be done anytime soon. This is exactly as he wrote:

"The air filter is ok. The fluids are in good condition. Belt and hoses look good. The drive axles look good. The battery tested good and has a little corrosion on it. The rear main seal is leaking some oil. The front and rear sway bar links have some cracked bushings, and show some play. The u-joints on the driveshafts have some slight play. Overall the vehicle is in good shape for its age and mileage."

I should note, as well. The A/C acted up, for one day, 2 weeks ago. I had them do all of the tests, with their A/C machine, and everything came back perfect, they confirmed it was blowing extremely cold, and that the compression, or pressure, numbers were all perfect. They could not find anything wrong. I suspect, if the issue comes back, that it is most certainly the relay, which is an easy fix. The A/C lines, evaporator, and dryer are all new.

In person he said it is in "shockingly great condition", and that he couldn't believe how great it looked, for the age/mileage. I am not sure if I mentioned above, but I do have all the service records, for all work done. It was all done at an Austin Toyota Dealership.

I am dropping my MUD price to $9,500. I think it is a bargain, seeing as Cruisers (that need work, and are in worse condition), are not selling for much less. This Cruiser truly drives like new. It was sold (as of yesterday), but the buyer backed out at the last second, citing a long trip that they are taking.

Feel free to PM me with anymore questions. I cannot think of anything that I have left out, but maybe there is something.

I should also note, I pressed my mechanic on the 'rear main seal oil leak', and he said that they did not find any noticeable oil loss, and that he would 100% advise not worrying about it. He said if, at any point, you start to notice more than 1/2 quart of oil loss, in between oil changes, then it can be switched out, but unless that happens, it is not a concern. He quoted the job at 7 hours labor, parts were inexpensive.

I meant to note all of the issues, as I think I left out a few. They are as follows:
- driver seat leather is a bit worn towards the outside of the seat. Not torn, just a bit worn out.
- rear passenger seat (behind driver seat) has 3 small holes in the leather.
- D light does not work
- hood struts do not hold pressure, they should be replaced.
- I do not have the automatic lock, portion of the key. Therefore, no automatic locks. I am unsure if they work, but they do all lock/unlock when using the key, in the door.
- rear windguard is missing, as seen in the pictures
- bumpers have a few scuffs/scrapes, nothing too bad. Pictures show that.
- glove box is a bit loose
- I do not have the 3rd row seats
- few very difficult to notice dents on the bottom-most portion of the rear tailgate.

I am open to trades, and would be willing to add cash, or do trade, with cash, on your end.
