As the title says I have a 2000 LC with 181k with steering slop. I recently replaced the rack, bushings, and all tie rod ends. But there is still a little slop in the wheel. Seems only to be there when turning the opposite direction from wheel travel. Super light resistance then gives way and "catches". Maybe .5 inch. Maybe less. But the steering wheel doesnt feel tight and it always gives my heart a skip when this happens and the wheel seems free. Any Ideas?

How easy is it to replace the steering U-joint, and I assume its pretty accessible? Cost DIY and at dealer if you know?
