2000 LC in Houston TX - REDUCED

SOLD

The driveway got crowded today when I brought home my new truck. Time for this one to go! Reduced to $12750

2000 Toyota Land Cruiser, 150000 miles, located near downtown Houston TX. Bought brand new by my wife and driven as her grocery getter for 10 years. Originally titled in her name, recently transferred to mine so I could get my radio operator plates. Never driven off-road, or wrecked, all original paint, never smoked in. No NAV or AHC. Original window sticker, shop manuals, and maintenance records included. Original tool roll, jack, spare tire lock, wheel locks w/2 keys. ARB front bumper with Engo 9000# winch, relocated solenoid box, original wired control, wireless control, SLEE second battery tray with Optima battery. Rhino rack installed in place of original roof rack. Rear two-drawer storage system with locking latches.

There are no issues or problems with anything, including A/C (works 100%), transmission, rear axle, transfer case, front diff, CVs, wheel bearings, electrical system, brakes, windows, sunroof, or body (no rust). All maintenance and repairs done by me. I recently put in the shop for the first time to have the right inner tie rod replaced. Comes with a couple of spare oil filters, a spare set of spark plugs, and 2 spare ignition coils. A while back, I pulled the front axles and cleaned the CVs up, and rebooted them. At the same time, I replaced the front wheel bearings and the spindle bearings, and repacked everything. Comes with special socket for wheel bearing work.

Timing belt, serp belt, timing idler bearings, water pump, etc. replaced at 100K. I replaced the head gaskets at the same time to fix a small coolant leak. The cylinder bores looked like they were brand new. New radiator and starter. Brakes are good, front rotors have been turned, comes with spare rear pads and some new hardware. I just installed new sway bar bushings and cushions, front and rear, and new OEM shocks. Tires are Goodrich Rugged Terrain T/A 80%. Comes with original Michelin spare tire.

Interior is very good. I recently removed the wood grained interior pieces, revealing the pristine gray plastic underneath.

I would be real surprised if you could find a cleaner 2000 LC out there. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere.

ARG!

I'm not saying the 2000 LC I bought last month is not a great vehicle. It is. And I love her. But why, WHY wasn't this up for sale 30 days ago?????!!!! :crybaby:

Maybe because it was already set up and that's no way for a real man to buy a LC? Well **** being a real man, I love this cruiser and wish I had more will power to watch the market just a little bit longer. :bang:

Good luck with the sale. Beautiful and beautifully set up.

To answer a couple of questions that I was asked. There are no fluid leaks, the driveway under its living area is spotless. The tires are stock size. There is absolutely NO RUST. I have the engine cover, which will be included in the sale.

Still available. Had a pleasant, trouble-free 250 mile drive today.

Update with some more answers to questions: The third-row seats and mounting hardware are included. The third-row seat belts are missing.

The drawer system is removable with a little work. It is held in place with some heavy duty ratchet straps that I had custom made. I did not drill any holes anywhere, but I did have to trim one of the inner fender trim panels a little bit.

Also included is the original front bumper bar and cushion, no fog lights or bumper cover.

The color is silver, champagne metallic, I think.

The steering wheel is in excellent shape, with almost all of the original finish left.

My wife and I are both non-smokers, so the LC has never been smoked in. I'll add that it smells pretty fresh inside.

The LC has never been in a flood, nor had any water inside of it.

Also, I just had the front end aligned for the first time in 150,000 miles, and only because my mechanic didn't get it perfect after he replaced the right inner tie rod recently.

What is the ENGO box for? Did I read over the answer? I'm interested and my wife will be in Houston soon. Sooner if you sell this to me.

I didn't see: does it have locking rear differential?

The OEM e-locker wasn't available on the 2000s.

The ENGO box runs the ENGO 9000# winch. There was not enough room for the box in the bumper, so I relocated it.

Still available. Never lifted or had oversized tires on it. Made another 300 mile trouble-free road trip this weekend. This LC is 100% reliable!
