Any chance you want to visit Utah? JK...Looks like a very nice rig. I wish it was 1500 miles closer.

Good luck with sale,
Mike

Wish you were a little closer. This is about exactly what I'm looking for. On a side note is anyone doing any financing on used cars that are 10years old and have over a 100k miles?

Saw this truck at IPOR over the summer at the show. Its very nice, wish I had the money. Good luck with the sale.

Looked into financing through Capital one auto finance. When I bought my 80 3 years ago they sent me a blank check to buy it with no questions asked basically. Now the vehicles have to be less than 7 years old and less than 70k miles. DDDOOOHH

the dude abides!!....lets talk over the weekend...will pm and email ya my details...

Very interested. Definetly post some more pics. Checking further financing. I understand about the one month old taking attention. I had to sell my 80 when I was almost finished with it due to our first child coming 10 weeks early. Now I have a 16 month old and 4 month old really taking my attention. Congrats either way!

As for Banks and Rates... Speaking as a banker... Its like this... If it is a national bank, forget it... Dont even apply, they have spec sheet, if its not in... No guy.. Local Credit Unions, produce the best rate, and if you know a local car dealer owner, run it thru him... and the rate is even lower.

Or try a small hometown bank, rate want be smoking but you can get the deal done.

The online banks, are a thing of the past, for the blank checks... Nice ride, Worth the money, with mods, and miles, not to mention the 1500 to 2K worth of service work just done.

Looks awesome. I appreciate the candidness with all of the "issues". I have looked at many "perfect" used cars only to have driven 2 hours for a pos. Looks great though I think. Where roughly in Virginia are you? I have a uncle that lives in Danville and a cousin that lives in Roanoke.

jason, thanks for the pics...looks good

i assume the CEL is o2 sensor related? what was the code? ...but looks like that will be sorted in the services you doin

Yes the CEL is the o2 sensor, I'll have to go run it again to get the code, I lost the business card I wrote it on the back off.

I daily drive this guys, and trust it 100%, it is as smooth as it ever was stock. I'm sure it will be even nicer after it gets its services. Here is one more picture for good measure, nice and rainy here today.

Thanks, and guys a couple hundred rounds of .45 or .223 would make a deal happen its all yours! Hell I'll even throw in some 300wm match:cheers:

-side not, stickers are off now, probably should have done that before posting and losing a sale to a Dem voter!

What kind of mileage are getting DD/commuting?
(I am an 80 owner so I know its not great, just wondering what the numbers are.)

Synthetic or dino on the fluids?

Nice truck. A couple questions:

Has it spent it's whole life in VA?

The exhaust has some rust, but it's hard to see the rest of the undercarriage? Is it pretty rust free? Nothing worse than frozen bolts!

How are the exhaust manifolds? I owned a 2000 and have driven many. They are prone to cracked exhaust manifolds. It will tick like a stuck lifter for 30 seconds or so after a cold start. No big problem, mostly an annoyance, just expensive to fix.

Lastly, how are the CV's after the lift? Any seepage? What's up with the broken bolt on the diff drop?
