Guys - I searched the forum, and a few others to see if there is a known vibration in the gas pedal of the 200 series. I notice it from 1500-2000RPMs mostly around 30mph but sometimes 60mph. If I'm at 65 and it kicks down to 1400RPM it goes away.

It looks like a lot of Tundra folks have talked about this resonance, but wanted to poll the group. My first thought was UJoints but I got my inspection back and it was fine. Maybe some grease would help regardless.

Otherwise it kind of sounds like this is just "how the 5.7 and drivetrain are" - If you believe the Tundra guys.

Any thoughts? If its nothing to be concerned about from a transmission perspective I will just take it as is. Just noticed it more and more after a few days of ownership

Mine does it too between 1800 to 2200 RPM, which is right at highway speed.
I read there was an old TSb about that concerning the transfer cases on the LX's.
Since my car is a 2015 I assumed that has been solved, but that got me thinking, so I put the car in low gear a couple of times, forward, reverse and that seemed to have helped a bit. I will continue to monitor.

Update here - Markuson suggested I ping Mr Slee and Christo was kind enough to chat with me via phone this morning. He said he noticed in his 2008 that there was occasional vibration at different speeds or RPMs but based on the body on frame and full time 4WD you can't assume its going to feel like a Cadillac at all times and he never thought it was a concern. Best quote of the call was "I'll tell you the new Silverado I bought felt worse new than the 200 ever did" which speaks volumes.

I'll update if anything changes

Empirically, I've not noticed any vibration in my 2013 at any speed. Maybe I'm just lucky?

FYI on this, after about 1 month of driving and verification...

Pulled my factory boards/steps, and....resonance is gone.

No changes made other than deleting the boards.

That's interesting glad you found the solution – mine seems to wax and wane depending on temperature up here in Minnesota. More concerning to me is I'm feeling some idiosyncrasies in the transmission. Occasional shuddering is making me nervous

Hey guys – I thought I would post an update, the other day I was driving and an old Dodge Ram with an incredibly loud muffler resulted in vibrations being felt immediately in the gas pedal as he passed me. I'm starting to realize that for whatever reason, any kind of resonance even bass in the radio results in footpedal vibration
