Automatic Transmission Temperature X-Gauge for Toyota Vehicles
Below is an experimental code for Toyota vehicles. We have confirmed this works in the
Landcruiser 200 Series Diesel using v4.02+ SG2 firmware and we have unconfirmed reports
that this code will work on the 150 series Prado diesel and 120 series V6 petrol using a v4.02
firmware ScanGauge2.
We are unsure if this X-Gauge requires ‘v4.02 - onwards’ to work or if it will work on any XGauge
enabled ScanGauge2.

We now have confirmation that ScanGauge II with firmware version 3.15 or 3.17 MB does not work with these new X-Gauges.

But there's hope for 4.02 and 4.05 owners. But for those with 3.xx. there is an "upgrade" available to 4.05 by way of a system board replacement.

I'm waiting for my ScanGauge to arrive and I'll test it out and report back.

Just installed scan gauge on 2008 with 90,000 miles
Programmed in transmission temp and with nothing towed.it read in range of 185-210 deg F
This seems high
I have a LC100 and transmission temp on that reads 136 to 158 over similar roads
Anyone else got a LC200 transmission temp

I get the same readings (79'c-96'c) this is with outside temp of 40-45'c. Goes mid to high 90,s when being pushed. Bottom left gauge is trans temp in 'c this was a 2 hour drive with cruise control the whole way and very flat roads.

Does anyone know if the transmission sensors for the 100 is in the same place as the 200 series??
This could explain the big difference between the two
