Wow - I love that green. Nice to finally see a different color than the very common grays and silvers. If I had ordered mine, I would have definitely gone with that Amazon Green! I would love to see them bring out a dark brown metallic.

It looks like a LARGE bird shat on that thing...I always hated that color.

It grows on you.... in 20 years it will be classic I dig it!

hala hala el theeb...thanks for the kind comments. I had the Icons installed in Dubai, and I had them remove the KDSS cause it was just killing everything. I couldnt get rid of the lean, and the steering pulled to the right HARD under acceleration, so in the end I gave up and had the KDSS removed. There is no difference in my opinion in the way the truck handles now or before, except the coil overs are fantastic.

The Tera Grapplers are excellent in the sand when deflated to about 10psi. I have 40,000 kms on them so far, and keep rotating between a set of 6 tires. Had them imported from Cali, and the wheels from a TRD online vendor in Dallas.

Hey boozewz- could you kindly let me know how to get rid of the KDSS? Ive got an ome kit on my vx.r and ive got the same leaning issues as u did. Real sorry to thread jack but this problems been drivin me crazy for quite some time now.
I'd be really grateful for any info provided. Thanks.

Thank you!

Great pics.

red04vxe - nice 'roo bar and RAI. Looked like a fun trip. Been quite a few weeks since I've hit the trails, seeing these pics makes me want to get away for a while soon.

dnh1,

Beautiful pair! Any difference in ride between the LC and LX?

Does my LC look small?

Towing my 257 Grady White, the LC looks tiny.

Seriously, I was nervous towing such a big boat but the LC handled it well. Just dont do anything too quickly. Have already ordered airbags for the rear and may try to take a little tongue weight off.

Nice pic. Good to see the LC put to use. Mine's been through the trails and done a few hundred miles towing too. Plain sailing you could say;)

Mine as of Monday afternoon....

I noticed that both this truck and the green one Christo posted have an extra piece of body paneling under the headlight between the fender and the bull bar. Is that something that had to be custom made to fill in the gap, or is someone (ARB?) making that piece?

Just curious. The headlight and fender design is similar to the Hilux, and it's not a great design for aftermarket bumper makers with all that real estate to fill in under the headlight.

My wife thinks I bought to 2011 LC for her JUST so I could tow the boat. OF COURSE NOT!!!! Shhhhh ;)

She' hates when I take it for the weekend and she has to drive her "old" 1999 LC.

I'm in the process of preparing the 99 for towing too, airbags, new brake pads all around, rear rotors and all new fluids, perhaps a trans temp gauge. I just dont know if it's going to have enough power. The 2011 easily holds 65, I dont think the 99 will hold 50-55. On the 3 hour trip to Montauk the biggest hill is the Thogsneck bridge then it's pretty flat. I'll only know by trying. SLOW and steady during non peak hours, like 4 AM.

Look in the sticky's at the top of the 200 forum at the ARB bumper thread. You cut the stock bumper and that makes those gap pieces.
