Regarding durability, we haven't had any issues with screws coming loose or pulling out. The carcass design is rigid enough to prevent the vibration-induced hole wallowing or fatigue stress that causes most fastener failures in overlanding applications. The only potential issue would be over-driving screws during assembly, but that's easily remedied by stepping up from #8 to #9 wood screws if needed.
