2 new FJ60s coming next week, Tranny & T-case ??

We are getting a DD FJ60 (1986) for my wife and a parts rig (1987) FJ60 end of next week and I have a few questions:

In the 86' & 87' (both stock) FJ60s which 4 speed and T-case will they have? Will they have the split T-case?

What gearing will they have?

The parts rig will be donating some it's drive line to my FJ40 I'm gathering parts for.

In stock form they will have the H42 4 speed transmission. They will have the split t-case and these should have the 38 mm diameter idler shaft as opposed to the earlier 34 mm shaft. You can easily swap a H55F 5 speed into these years as there will be a spacer between the transmission and t-case.

Will they have the 2f motor or what will they be?

Where on Mud can I find some specs and info on the H42 & split t-case?

Is the H42 a stronger tranny than the H55, especially for towing an expedition trailer?

Thinking of my FJ40, as it will be an expedition rig and towing a expedition type trailer. I'm guessing the H42 tranny will be best for it.
