We did 2 recoveries and on the 3rd at 12K ft we had to call in SAR

I think 14,000 feet is a little optimistic. The highest mountains in the LaSalle range are about 12,300 feet, and obviously the road you're on is way below the summits, still below tree line it looked like. So that would be closer to 10,500 to 11,000 feet.

Yeah the snow in Moab is no joke. Running from the Elephant hill side we had to turn back before the summit on Beef Basin. Probably a good three feet of heavy wet snow sitting on the pass this March.
