1st year of dual airbags?

Actually, the question went like this:

OLE: Dude, what's the first year Toyota pickup with a 4 cyl, 5 sp trans, and at least an Xtra-cab that had dual airbags.

Maybe 94-95, but it may not have been till the taco... I know some 4Runners had airbags in the early 90s... I think the trucks may have gotten the shaft cause they are more work related....

Earliest mention of airbags in a toy pick I have found is 95 Taco, but only drivers side...

Earliest pass side '98

And that's that I think. SO, start looking for a taco 98+
