Would wheels like these work on a FJ60?

Thanks
-Wyo

Yes. They are the same backspacing as the hub-cap style Cruiser wheels, just a bit wider...

The old Cruiser wheels and 1st gen pickup wheels will work without issue...and look very cool.

I think those would look great on a 60. I like the solid look.

How wide are those pickup wheels?

yep, aluminum

Holy thread revival! Say hallelujah!

A friend has offered to give me a set of factory steelies off a late 80's 4wd pickup with IFS (I think its an 87... looks something like this:

)

Does anyone know what kind of backspacing would I need if I ran these on my 60?

I know I ran across the answer to this question before but I can't remember where, and my ADD kicked in before I could find it again...

Only way to know is to measure. I am not sure what the BS is on those. But if they are designed for IFS, they are probably at least an inch too offset.

But that is a guess.

I measured. Somewhere between 1.25 and 1.5. I went with 1.5" spacers.

The steelies cleaned up nice:
