Tired of your oil bathing your starter and block each time you remove your filter? This is the thing for you, unfortunately it did not fit my trucks but it was worth a shot.

Toyota Part Number: 15674-17010 and corresponding bolt for your oil cooler.

Looking up on the EPC HDJs and HZ's starting in 1998 would suit this part. I looked up the part number off an HZJ105 for example. This should fit an HZJ79's 1HZ for example as they were made starting in 1999.

Even if you can't install it on your engine maybe you can hold it in place each time you remove your old filter...

1994 1HZ. Is the oil catch can for a newer model engine?

If your engine comes from a hzj105 or is an 1HZ 2000 model year or newer, it is almost sure you can fix it. Those engine have a threaded hole in the casting of the oil cooler just below the oil filter for a bolt to hold the can. Just check on your engine if you see it, if not, you can use the can anyway and hold it by hand at each oïl change....

For anyone searching in the future, the bolt to hold this in place is Toyota part # 91511-J0820.
