I heard of many people here who bend their baffles for shorter clearances not sure why but according to this video it needs to be set at 22mm for less oil consumption

He made that clear as mud!

22mm would be a gaping hole and provide no baffe at all.

From memory the hole in the baffle plate is only about 22mm X 22mm square with the tab bent in a dog leg to leave about a 10mm gap, roughly parallel to the main plate.

I closed the gap on mine to about 3mm as I was getting a fair bit of oil collecting in the intake before the turbo.
Bending them made no noticeable difference, and I personally saw no change in oil use.

I also thought closing the gap could increase velocity of air rushing through the narrower gap, but I think the tabs are there to prevent direct splashing of oil, not to remove airborne oil mist.

Closing the tab would be more likely to cause an increase inoil usage due to increased crank case pressure because the breather holes have been restricted, and not through suction pulling more oil out through the PCV.

I ended up restoring tabs back to how they were from factory, and vented my PCV to atmosphere to keep oil out of the intake.
