1FZ FE and 1HD FT

Question for 1HD FT owners:

Do you guys know whether the 1HD FT cooler will fit exact thru same 1FZ FE?
In terms of hose fitting and mounted place.
This guy offer me JDM GREX cooler kit (GREDDY) for 1HD FT.Well it supposedly provide better flow cooling system.(Bigger and larger core compare to the stock one).So far he hadn't reply my question yet for the exact fit. (1 FZ FE - 1HD FT).Thought maybe i post it here to get quick answer and better response from your experienced.Pics below the GREX (GREDDY) cooler kit looks like :

Maybe not. The HDJ-80's with 1HD-FT has a factory turbo-intercooler, while the FZJ-80 has a normally-aspirated 1FZ-FE engine. Therefore the space availability in front of the radiator is different.

For what it's worth, I checked out my Toyota Electronic Parts Catalogue CD and came to the conclusion that the 1FZ-FE and 1HD-T and 1HD-FT radiators are the same --including the part where the tranny oil cooling goes... I need one for my imported 1FZ-FE here in the Philippines (they only sold HDJ-80's here with the 1HD-T engines (lots of similarities to 1HZ)).

Drex I am sorry to disagree with you here but the HDJ80 with either the 1HD-T or the 1HD-FT did not unfortunately come with an intercooler for the turbo I only wish that they had as the performance and economy would be even better. Intercoolers are an aftermarket fitment and are available from several sources in the UK and I am sure also else where.
