I thought I'd try to bookmark this file, just to see how much time and effort was involved. It took less time to bookmark this than I expected. Ill try to do the same for all the reamining FSMs I have, and update those w/o bookmarks if I have time. If anyone feels like going back through the existing FSMs which are unmarked and bookmarking them for the good of the group, have at it.

First of all thanks for uploading all of this content. Amazing resource for all mud users.

As far as bookmarking, I'd prefer to have outlines for the file contents and then leave bookmarks for marking pages that are of specific interest to me depending on what I'm working on or need quick access to. Does your pdf tool allow you to do that quickly as well? What do you think of using that approach?

I've already added an outline to the 2003 LX470 EWD and am going to do the LX470 Repair Manual next, since those are the ones that I use. It looks like I can't upload the files to the existing resource entry and I'd rather not add a new entry for something that's basically identical. Do you want to upload them? Let me know and I'll send them to you when I'm done?

The bookmarks are chapter, and section within chapter, outlines; I think this is what you're referring to? Not page bookmarks per se. You only need to request access to the resources section to post there. I'm using Acrobat Pro; nothing special over and above what anyone can do.

I use the freeware HandyOutliner for pdf to copy bookmarks from one file to another, but the first outline was created manually; it's worth money. I think it's the best software I've downloaded since Notepad++.

If you use HandyOutliner you can export your bookmark outlines to a text file and I can import them into the files I have. No need to swap the mega pdfs. I was actually considering posting the outlines for anyone to use to bookmark their own files, until I got away from myself and had almost the entire gen 1 series done. I'll post 2001 and 2002 when I get some free time; sooner if someone asks for them.
