Seems like a bunch of us are looking for the same thing but I figure I'd take a long shot and see whats out there for around $7500 - $9000. My schedule probably wouldnt allow me to venture too far away from the SE at the moment but if something nice pops up I'd be willing to fly around.
My unicorn would be as follows:
2003 Land Cruiser
Sub 250k miles
Galactic Gray Mica
No rust
Decently maintained
Working sunroof
Would appreciate the 3rd row seat
That said it seems like the gray is a little hard to find. Heres a little more reasonable expectation:
1999-2005 LC
Sub 250k miles
Gray or Black
No rust to minimal surface rust
Timing belt and water pump done recently
Everything in decent working order
I would entertain an LX but it must be 2000 or newer and have lift already done with the AHC removed.
