Hello,
I am currently working in the Kimberley, Australia and my poor wife back in GA has been having problems with our 1998 Landcruiser. First she was losing coolant so Lagrange Toyota replaced the radiator and water pump but still losing coolant.

Anyway, major problem has been transmission or something. A couple of weeks ago she was driving and got a loud noise and loss of power and she pulled up. She drove home at 15mph in 4wd and we had a mate replace the actuator for the diff.
Well yesterday she had another loud screeching noise and lost all power. She couldn't even get it into park so had to leave it resting against our neighbours gate until she could get it towed home. She lost all power this time.

Can anyone help us with some details of a good mechanic who works on Toyotas in the area. We are in Hogansville, GA and would appreciate some recommendations before she goes back to the dealer.
Thanks,
Skippy

I second ACC.

Have any of you ever gotten ACC to call you back? I wanted to bring my 40 in and have called them 1/2 dozen times and have gotten zero response. Never had some one not want to take my money before

I think the bigger question is did you start saying 'mate' as a byproduct of working in Australia, or have you akways used such vernacular?
