Not mine. Very nice from what I can tell.
1997 Toyota FZJ80 Land Cruiser
Unfortunately, I have too many toys so up for sale is my 1997 Toyota FZJ80 Land Cruiser. It has 127,000 miles and has been meticulously maintained. And before we get any further, it does not have lockers. Bummer. What it does have is a clean body, engine, drivetrain, and interior. It is sporting an Old Man Emu 2.0 inch suspension system front and rear with a 850s front and 863 heavies in the back. This suspension is plush and is like no other off road. It has an ARB winch bull bar (unfortunately, no winch) with a pair of PIAA Pro 80 XT pencil beams. These are the brightest deer spotters short of HID and are wired into a stock switch on the dash for a clean look. On the ARB, there is a Slee Off Road AC Condenser skid plate installed. It rides on 285/75/18 (33inch) Toyo MTs that have about 5,000 miles on them which are mounted on 18 inch KMC XD800 Misfits. This is a mean looking Cruiser with this combo.
The body is straight and there are a couple of very minimal door dings. There is a factory roof rack in place and the paint on the entire vehicle was recently clay bar treated and shines as good as new. There is of course a tow hitch in the back and this Cruiser has only towed a raft to my knowledge.
The interior is spotless and has gray leather seating for seven, with pristine jump seats in the back. Husky liners cover the carpet front to back, including the cargo area. The leather seats have had Specter Off Road seat covers on them since I purchased it in 2010 and just removed them recently. There are no cracks in the leather. A Garmin dash mounted GPS is included. The sunroof functions flawlessly and there is some nice tint on the back windows. All windows work well with the exception of the driver's which is a little slow when it is cold. Keyless entry is present. The AC functions well and there is of course, back seat heat.
The engine performs well and has no issues. With the exception of a K&N air filter, the engine is stock. The transfer case shifts into low range smoothly and the front and rear axles are without issue. The transmission shifts smoothly and there are no problems with it. The rear brakes were replaced about 20,000 miles ago and new front brake pads were installed at 126,500 miles.
The Kelley Blue Book for private party lists this vehicle for $9,480 (very good condition). I have priced it higher due to the suspension, lights, bull bar, and wheels/tires.
I am not in a rush to sell it and would appreciate reasonable offers. I can assure you that there are very few Cruisers for sale this well maintained with this low of miles in Boise, let alone the country. I searched high and low for about a year to find this one and flew to Sparks, NV to buy it. I will also include the stock Toyota wheels which have Yokahama Geolanders on them (285/75/16). These have some life left in them. There is a full size spare under the Cruiser.
