Hey guys I picked up a 97 LX last month for a winter truck for my wife but its a bit of a project so I am thinking of selling it. It hasnt been taken care of too well for the past 100k in about 6 years with the PO. Anyway its at the body shop right now having the front bumper replaced and the drivers side fender fixed. After that it will look pretty nice. The interior is in good shape. Everything is complete and working except for the cd changer.
Mechanically it needs help. The rotors are pretty warped. The tranny has some clunks when shifting into drive or reverse but shifts good on the highway. It may be a motor mount? All the hangers on the exhaust are broken so the pipe bangs around when you shift into gear. It also has a cel light on that I hevent really investigated yet. In any case I am into it for about 5500 right now so if someone wants it for around that money I will sell it. It shows 2 accidents on carfax but its not salvage or anything.
I can get some pictures next week when its out of the body shop if anyone is interested otherwise I will keep fixing it and drive it this winter. Email me at gringojj@aol.com.
