1997 Lexus LX450 with approximately 185K miles, runs strong and is mechanically sound. The paint and body are in good shape considering the age of the vehicle, only a couple of small dings and chips. This has been my daily driver for the last two and a half years with no issues. I was planning on keeping this vehicle long-term (see all preventative maintenance below) but must sell now. Very minimal off-roading with this vehicle. Mostly original with the exception of Borla exhaust, Rancho Shocks, BFG tires, and tow hitch added. The Lexus LX450 is very similar to Toyota Land Cruiser both of which are very rare to find in good shape now days. Also includes the folding 3rd row seats. Clear title in hand.
Replaced within the last 24 months:
- Tires: Like new BFG All Terrain KO2 285/75-16
- Front wheel bearings replaced with genuine Toyota OEM parts for preventative maintenance
- Front and rear Universal joints replaced with genuine Toyota OEM parts for preventative maintenance - Installed by Wilson Offroad in Fayetteville NC
- Front and rear axles serviced and refilled with AMSOIL Severe Gear 75W-90 oil for preventative maintenance
- Front brake pads and rotors replaced with genuine Toyota OEM parts
- Rear brake pads (genuine Toyota parts), calipers, and rotors (from NAPA) recently replacedn
- Surface rust on rear wheel openings removed and replaced with new metal by Carolina Customs
- Fan belts replaced
- Transmission serviced (new fluid and filter)
Stuff included but not installed
- Driver and passenger front door window modulators with motors
- Part time conversion kit
- Heavy duty engine block transfer heater hose
- Towing light wire harness
Stuff I didn't get to...
- Driver side seat cover ripped
- Passenger side front seat motor recently stopped working
- Passenger side rear door lock does not work, can lock/unlock manually
- Power antenna does not work
- Small leak in power steering pump, does not affect operation.
- Sun roof initially leaked when purchased, was sealed with silicone RTV which can be removed if next owner wants to replace seal.
