SOLD!!! Looking to sell my 1997 Lexus LX 450 with 169K miles and a salvaged title. I recently bought this, but need cash. The rig is in great shape, leather interior, third row, power everything, aftermarket alarm with remote start, factory lockers and they work well and engage fast. The 4.5 has great power and seems to have been kept up. The PO said he just changed pads and rotors. The only thing I have done is change the oil, add brighter headlights and I had the interior professionally detailed. Recently repainted (decent job) a couple of spots I noticed had drips.
The story on the salvage is vandalism. Apparently it had the interior thrashed and the exterior keyed. This was all replaced.
negatives: radio doesn't work nor does the seperate CD player (won't eject cartridge). blemish in the paint on back where the "L" symbol came off. Seperate key for door locks and ignition. Only one remote. The odometer reads 123k had to replace due to the vandalism. For what it is worth I do have a carfax and it backs up the 169K miles.
Recently passed smog on the first try and is registered up until Feb 2010
