Guys,
This comes with heavy heart, economy is killing us all, not making the money I used to and as a result, no time or money to enjoy this pristine 40th.
1997 LC 40th, 2 owner truck, 119,xxx miles
It is a california truck, 1st owner I don't believe ever took it offroad. It is the sage color, whatever the common 40th color is. I bought it with just under 115,000 miles, it now has a little less than 119,000 (will need to double check that). I paid a bit of a premium because I have a stack of maintenance receipts about an inch thick from the original owner. Mostly oil changes, but it's also had starters (2), radiator, axle service, smog stuff, etc. etc. over the years. Quite a bit of work done in the last 20,000 miles that would be counted as baseline type items. I made an excel spreadsheet with a summary of the maintenance done. I consider it "baselined" for the most part, there are a couple items coming due but nothing pressing. Although I haven't put many miles on it I haven't had any issues, doesn't burn or leak oil (parked in the garage).
I purchased a Man-a-Fre 3/2 kit and had it installed by 4 wheel parts. Has the proper drop brackets, extended stainless steel brakelines, etc. 4 almost new Goodyear 315 MTR's (stock spare) and a fresh alignment. It has Bumpit Offroad sliders and a Slee Short Bus front bumper. I installed a viper remote lock/unlock and an Ultragauge. Also put in a CDL switch, did the pin 7 mod, and added a JDM cup holder. I have some tune up items purchased but not installed such as distributor, wires, front axle kit (I bought this because I was going to do it when re-gearing, just never got there), second battery tray and maybe a couple other items. Also just put on a landtank modified blue fan clutch.
Exterior is in good condition, I have parked it in the garage since I've had it. From the condition of the paint and interior I would assume the previous owner did as well. There are normal wear and tear stuff here and there and a little bit of trail pin stripes, not too noticeable and was only from one trip. Interior is in good shape, no tears in the leather but they do show wear. Second and third row are in good shape. All original carpet and floormats are in good shape as well. Stock stereo with no backlighting, but the antenna works. Drive light does not work, everything else functions normally.
I have the 3rd row seats wrapped in plastic, husky liners all 4 as well for the truck.
It is a really nice truck, like many others I don't really want to sell it. But it's not getting the use I thought it would and I'm currently working two jobs and do not have the money or time to even drive it.
pics are here:
Price is $$$$$$$$$$$$OOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLD
not factory locked, had planned to do 4:88's and ARB's, guess the new owner will get to do it.
Location is : Helena, Montana, 59601
I will deliver it on a flatbed trailer for $1.20 per loaded mile.
