How many intake manifold gaskets do I need to buy also are their brands to shy away from?
I would like to point out that Im new to working on motors and that I am learning as I go. Im about to start replacing my HG that blew last week on my 1997 and my buddy told me I need to replace the intake manifold gasket as well. Im doing the replacement at my good friends shop who has every tool I could ever need. He will be looking over my shoulder and checking my work. Im just trying to get all the basics in before I start breaking down the motor and get stuck waiting for a week on a part to come in.
I already ordered the valve grind kit and hope it gets here at respectable time next week.
I searched but didn't find this basic info, if I didn't search hard enough and you have a link to a thread I didn't see, that would be greatly appreciated.
