UPDATE: I took out the passenger tail light and jiggled the trailer wiring harness around and voila, lights are working again. Looks like I’ll be removing the trailer harness this weekend.
I just realized that the brake lights aren’t working on my 80 series at night when my headlights are switched on. When the light switch is in the off position, the brake lights work fine. I saw some people mentioning this on some other threads when I did a quick search, but nobody had a solution or went into much detail other than replacing the taillight harness. Hoping this is something that I can take care of without removing the rear drawers in the cargo area And that someone who has had this exact issue has an easy fix for it. Any help is much appreciated.
