Yes I could pick you up. It drives fine. It has a tire vibration around 75mph. It's not too bad just anoying. I have driven it about 650 miles since I purchased it and it hasn't missed a beat.

OK, sounds good. What's the closest airport? I'm looking into tickets now.

**EDIT** - FYI, I'm still undecided so please don't count me as a sure thing. Obviously the biggest factor is the distance & getting it, it's a damn good deal for sure. If this sells in the meantime to someone locally or closer than I, it's not a big deal.

is this still for sale? also, how often do you have to add oil? I know it has been brought up already but i want to ask again. Would you be comfortable driving this 1700 miles home?
Thanks
Jared

It's still availible.

Based on multiple readings I took over the past 600 miles. I would equate the oil loss to 1/2 quart per 1000 miles. I have no idea what oil was in the truck so I changed it to Rotella this past weekend.

I would not have any problem driving this truck 1,700 miles. I am going to try and have the tires balanced this weekend. The front 2 are missing wheels weights.

where were you a year ago??? florida cruiser with lockers to boot! bump for a nice looking florida cruiser.

To all that have been interested in this truck, I apologize for the delayed response. I work for Mr. T so I am a little busy right now. I had a Blackstone report don on this vehicle. It cam back with the following results:

CASEY: You’ve got a big question mark for the oil type, so either you didn't change the oil yourself (or
maybe you're just forgetful), or else you just bought this one. Copper and lead are very high, as you can
see, and this looks to us like a classic case of Restore. That's an additive that takes a long time to wash out
of the system once you put it in. It masks bearing wear, so we can't see how that part of the engine is doing.
If you don't think copper and lead are from Restore, then this looks like a serious bearing problem. No
fuel/coolant found. Viscosity=10W/30.

Copper = 295
Lead = 269

I spoke with Blackstone and they agree that if the truck is running well (and it is), then it is Restore or something similar. Since I just bought this vehicle and I don't know it's past, I have decided to drive it for awhile to get enough miles to have another sample taken. The bottom line is I want to have the piece of mind that there is nothing wrong with this LX when I sell it.

I'm interested in the truck no matter how the engine turns out. Not to sound like an ass but I'd be more interested in the vehicle if the engine was toast. I'm looking for another vehicle for a diesel swap.

The sad part is there are two trucks like this in the same condition in junkyard near me. Too bad they are cash for clunkers. Gotta love the gov't

also interested. will check tickets to Florida

How long till you will sell?

It's still for sale, however, I am driving it to get enough miles to do another Blackstone test. The truck has Zero rust. As soon as I have the test done, I will update the post. It will probably take me a month to get rack up enough miles.

Any trade possibilities for 76 fj40?
