Hey guys,
Unfortunately, my father decided that the land cruiser has to go. Here are the specs.
Car is located in Washington DC/Maryland/Virginia area
1996 dark blue with grey leather
117k miles
1 owner (bought it new in 1996
)
Lockers F/C/R (yep. The ones everyone is looking for, in a low mileage rig)
3rd row of seats
JBL speakers in all doors (speakers need to be wired to stock amp. Best buy could easily do this for you)
lightly tinted front windows
Optima group 31 yellow top battery (very new)
ARB front winch bar (lots of deer where I live, didn't want to take any chances haha)
Piaa lights w/ upgraded 100w hella bulbs (actual 100w not just "like 100w"
Slee headlight harness/aux light harness, with backlit OEM switch to work the lights (didn't cheap out! Real OEM $70 switch)
Dueler A/T revo tires in stock size (also on spare)
Keyless entry (that actually still works) installed in 1996 at dealer
Keys, and a few keyless remotes
Borla exhaust (sounds awesome, no leaks!)
Blue fan clutch with 10,000 weight oil.
None of the crap!:
no running boards, no window visors, no spoiler no NOTHING this car is super clean. It is a perfect platform for someone who wants to lift it and throw on tires and then take it wheeling.
Unfortunately, the car has a few issues:
1. Something keeps causing the gauge fuse to blow. I'm working on getting it fixed. If I can't fix it, you'll just have to trace the connections and find the problem. I don't think this is too big of a deal.
2. Little noisy at idle. Had belts replaced recently, but still a little noisy. Is less noisy when a/c is on.
3. Professionally repaired body from an incident in my driveway on DS quarter panel. Paint isn't aging as well as factory. Not a big deal, not very noticable
4. Stain on carpet in trunk where a leaky battery got to the carpet. Available from dealer for not too much money, and not visible with 3rd row down.
This car was never wheeled. I'm not in too much of a rush to get this car gone, so i'm looking for around 9k.

Truck actually has around 117k, so a little lower than I thought.
As for others concerns:
-Seems A/C compressor has gone. The idle is now very quiet, so i'm assuming that was the problem. It will likely need replacement, but I hear this isn't too bad a job.
-NO leaks that drip on the ground.
-Original HG and birfs. Birfs do not click, and I have taken precautionary cooling measures to have this HG last as long as possible.
-Maintenance was done by one shop locally for the past 5 or 6 years, and before that the dealer.
-Condition of leather: driver seat has some wear, as expected. There are NO tears anywhere on the leather. Steering wheel and console leather are in pretty nice shape, with little wear on either.
-Stereo: You will need to have the speakers wired into the stock amp. I have a pioneer avic z1 with bluetooth, xm navtraffic, and ipod modules that I can let go with the rig for another 800. I also have a 4 channel amp, JL sub and monoblock amp that I can let go for another 300 on top of that. I am pretty strict on this pricing
-Rust: surface rust as expected under the truck, but nothing bad at all. There is one spot as big as a quarter above the windshield seal that has the paint bubble look, but there is still paint on it.
-Quarter panel: the clear isn't holding up as well as the rest of the truck. It is not that big of a deal, and even though I am anal I haven't done anything about it. It will need respraying if you want it perfect.
-No CEL's
