There's a vacuum hose directly below the temp sensor on the back of the intake manifold (drivers side). Take the hose off of it (inspect for cracks + if cracked = replace!!) and with a small wire, snug-fitting drill bit or a small Allen Wrench (which is what I used a few weeks ago), gently push down into that port that goes THROUGH the intake and emerges on the other side and into another rubber tube. if you feel tough resistance, chances are, you have fouling and/or blockage. I tapped mine out with the Allen and reamed it out some, cleared MY CEL (chk eng light) and it hasn't come back. WHereas before, it came back w/in 24hrs. If you don't have the ability to clear the code, after so many key cycles + miles at or above 45mph = the CEL should clear itself (if memory serves). I recommend, though, trying to get the code cleared in the event another, more critical, one pops up and you're not able to see it due to an ongoing P0402. Best of luck! ~fiddy
