UPDATE >>> Truck NOT for sale at this time. Maybe next year. Family really wants to go camping, I don't have enough time to find another one before Summer rolls around. <<<

I just bought this and really enjoy it. I'm not looking for a quick flip but really want to see if anyone recognizes the truck and can tell me anything more about it.

I'm continuing the restoration began by the previous owner. So far all I've done the past few days is gotten the front door speakers replaced and a Bluetooth touch screen stereo operational. The previous owners did a ton more.

All I was told is that it used to be the parts runner for Proffits Cruisers old shop and it has a recent top half engine rebuild, OME lift kit, new BFGs and the custom armor all around. New OME spec radiator and battery, Body looks intact. Original paint oxidizing but no rust or damage anywhere. Factory lockers front and rear. Rims need a makeover & that's my next stop. I'm thinking powder coat black to match the bumpers and sliders.

I'm posting in this section because kinda hoping someone will recognize it. I suppose everything is for sale at the right price but I'm gonna try enjoy it this summer and do some light camping and exploring with it.

So far I'm thinking upstate NY and Canada as the vacay plans but I love the West Coast too and it may end up in Long Beach on a Matson ship back to Hawaii if I don't get a hard offer on it.

If anyone knows more history in this truck, please fill me in. I don't have much else except what I posted.

Not listing a price because it depends on if/when I get a hit from a real buyer. I'm spending money and enjoying the truck for a while. 6 months or a year from now is fine by me but $$$ talks. PM me for current restoration status.

This truck is a keeper either way we go. Very well cared for and now titled and registered in my name.

A Hard Offer! Well what is the amount you are thinking you want or think you should get???

Ill do $4500? $5200 if its locked.

The recent engine work alone on the one in this listing is considerably more than what your offering. I'll sell the other one for $4,500 as-is / where-is. That's really close to your offer, you will even have money left over. Buy that one please!

I know it's still a buyers market but it was really hard to find one like this that hasn't been over every mountain pass in the Sierra Nevadas and then some. I have been looking for a long time. Pretty sure it was never wheeled and it's damn near originally intact but that's what I'm trying to find out with this thread. Trying to see if anyone recognizes the truck. I'm perfectly happy sitting on it and enjoying it a few years until the prices start going back up. Which they will.

Hold that thought, as it would probably be a waste of effort. I don't see this adding value, but it may hurt. It definitely would be a big minus for me.

The rims are really bad. What do you suggest? Original clear?

Yeah, whats the price you are looking for? With age, I lost the ability to read minds..

I think I should move this to another forum. Kinda talking myself out of selling it. At least for now. Sorry for getting everyone excited.

The '93 in my other for sale thread is ready to go.

You aren't on Ebay, Post a freaking price if you are putting it in the classifieds section. I believe that is John's old 80 aka GreaseCruiser. I don't think he's on Mud anymore.

Thanks for GreaseCruiser. Found him on Pirate. Sent PM. I've decded truck is not for sale right now. Kids and wife really want to go camping this summer. I'll put it up again later this year or next year. Thanks everyone.
