1994 JDM VX80 24 valve/5 speed manual (1 Viewer)

Ran across an unusual 80 this weekend. Right hand drive, 5 speed manual transmission, 24 valve diesel. Nice wood trim and leather. Had 262375 on the clock but not sure if it is miles or kilometers. I already have an 80, but the cool factor of a manual 80 is tempting. Anyone know anything about this set up or the value? I think it came from Europe and looks clean. it has a clean Ohio title. The guy seams to have a European connection.

To me it looks like the gauge cluster was swapped for an American one. It actually looks like a Japanese spec and it's most likely diesel. European versions are majority LHD except UK ofcourse.

Yes. That looks like a JDM 80 or 81. My buddy John owns one in Uganda Africa. Nice rigs, I’d love to import one just like it!

My money is riding on that it's from the UK. Headlight height adjustment is European.

Uh, there is a dealer decal on the back window, that should render where it's from...AND a GOOGLE SEARCH for Mid Ulster cars proclaims it's from IRELAND!! Why the speculation?

Sigh, beautiful rig. However, I do like my HDJ-80, LHD from the Canary Islands. It may not be as clean, but it's one hell of a rig.

What does the “J25” at the bottom right on the speedometer cluster mean?

Get the seller to snap you a photo of the plate under the hood with chassis number on it. Then you'd know for sure what it is.
