1994 FZJ80 Overdrive flickers (1 Viewer)

So when I drive the overdrive light turns on and off regularly but not always. It rather seems like a timed flash than flickering. If I turn on overdrive it works. The light does not affect anything other than being annoying. Any ideas?

That shows you have a transmission code. Need to use a paperclip to jump the box and see what it is. With it being a 94 i would almost guarantee it's a solenoid going out.

When the OD is light is flashing there is something wrong with the transmission. You need to pull the code off the obd. When mine did this it was two bad solenoids. You can do the jumper with a paper clip or if you have scanner to get the codes.

There is a thread around here with the part numbers for the Isuzu solenoid that is the same as Toyotas. Can't find it right now, they are much cheaper
