1993 LC Toyota recalls? (1 Viewer)

I've found these recalls for my 1993 LC.

Do any of them still apply to a second owner?

There is only one recall there, if it applies to your vehicle and has not been done yet (they have records by VIN ) then they may do it for you, give your dealership a call

The rest are just TSB's most are just information

Just for S&G, I wanted to see what other model '97 trucks (Ford, Cheby, etc..) had in the way of recalls. Yikes ... My '97 had NONE, ZERO, ZILCH recalls where the Ford F150 had between 9 and 11 Safety recalls for the different flavors of F150 and at least 1 general recall..

I have always known Toyota quality was leaps and bounds ahead of most vehicle manufacturers (that is why all my vehicles have been Toyota), but I was truely suprised to see the number of recalls for Ford and Chevy/GMC in that particular truck class...

Yep ZummaDude, I did the same thing with my '97 also, I compared recalls to my friend's 2000 (not so)Grand Cherokee. Holy CRAP! He had like 5 or so recalls, then like 10-20 TSBs that were actually problems, should have been recalls, you just had to tell them the correct keywords and they would replace stuff. Things like entire front driveshaft replace (what the!!), bushings here, seals there...I just laughed.
