How easy are these to put in?

Just remove the plastic trim piece in front of the cluster to the center vent area then a few screws to remove the cluster.

How easy are they to get to?

You remove the lower cowl, the one by your knees. Its just a few clips and about 4 screws. You remove the center trim which is one screw and some clips. You remove the cluster surround which is a few screws. Then unscrew the cluster itself. Few screws and a few connectors. If you've had to take it in and out a few dozen times while working on mods then you can do it in under ten minutes. I'd give it an hour all said.

I think there is more to it than that. I could be wrong though. You may only need to do the cluster trim but I could have sworn that was locked in my the center trim.

BTW, is the $15 for all needed LEDs or is that each? There are a few lights back there. And does the dimmer still work with the LEDs?

Any pics of the blue? Do they dim down like factory?
thanks

$15 shipped is for all four LEDs needed. The dimmer still works like stock.

It is difficult to capture the LED color and lighting through a camera. For the blue color, the needles are more visible than the picture depicts.

Also the bright "white" spots at 0 and 5 on the Tach are not visible in person. It's just how the camera captured it.

There will be differences between early models and 95+ too.

I'll take a set of the white ones. Please pm me your address and I'll send out a check for them. Thanks!

Jon

Coolio. Send me a PM with your PP details. I will take a set of white and a set of green. I want to experiment :D

the not fun part in the early dash model it's the black plastic trim ...

I will take a set of white .. also are those the same used in the early model dash buttons ? ( ETC / CDL / rear window defrost etc )

These LEDs are only for the cluster.

The climate unit, switches, etc are usually tiny bulbs and there aren't suitable "plug and play" LED solutions. However, we do all kinds of custom LED work and if you wanted to send in individual switches, we can color match them to whatever you wanted with custom LED work.

I want affordable LED rock lights.

you may want to change the title to 91-97 LEDs.

Plus those will work in just about every LC dash ever made.

Yes you're right, probably any Toyota and any other import made in that genre too. I know they work in pickups, siennas, 4runners, camrys..

Do these fit in the gear indicator spots as well?

No, cluster backlighting, turn signals, and low fuel light only

I think you can use these in the interior doors too. The bottom lights on the inside.
